Seventeen Stay Time Primer was one that I picked up on a whim in the airport. I realised I forgotten to pack a primer and saw this, which was fairly new at the time. It comes out pretty dark, which isn't ideal when you're as pale as I am. It blends out, but not enough for my liking and the texture is horrible. Once I start to blend with my fingers it starts going patchy and even worse once I apply my foundation over the top.
L'Oreal Miss Manga Punky Mega Volume Mascara. I really hoped for good things from this mascara, since I saw how well the regular Miss Manga mascara did. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. It gives me the worst spider lashes and smudges on my lids every time. It's not for me, but if you love voluminous lashes, then maybe give this one a go.
I steered well clear from the hype when Maybelline Baby Lips first came out, and wish I never bought it too.As a huge fan of Burts Bees, there isn't much that compares and I expected better things from this product. The colour is great actually and looks natural on the lips, for reference I got shade Pink Punch. Formula wise, it feels very silicone and is far from moisturising. I end up wiping it off every time and applying regular lip balm. Shame since the packaging is pretty cute!
Another Maybelline product is the Superstay 24hr Bold Matte Lip Color. This was one of those impulse buys when you're in Boots and spot a 3 for 2 offer and need a third item. The colour is a really pretty, very bright fuschia. The product claims to not transfer and last for up to 24 hours, extremely bold claim. Whilst I wouldn't ever need 24 hours wear, it does last a long amount of time, too long though in my opinion. Since I went for the matte version, it wasn't moisturising so my lips got very dry within a short amount of time of wear. Sadly this one will end up being neglected in my lipstick collection.
Yet another well hyped product was the Clinique Chubby Stick. I got this mini size as a sample with a magazine and I must admit, I did buy simply for the freebie. As much as it feels more moisturising than most stick products, it isn't very pigmented and so feels more like a regular lip balm. For the price, I hoped for more.
Finally, True Match Foundation. When I first purchased this, it was great for my skin tone and type. Fast forward time and this is no longer the right shade nor right for my skin, even non-pregnant. It's exrtemely drying and patchy, resulting in an uneven base once I apply products over the top. Lots of people rave about this, so I'm sure that it's a winner in some eyes, but not for me.
What do you think about the products I chose? Do you love any of these products?
