Beauty Bargains

Hey everyone, I thought I'd show you some of my recent beauty bargains and items currently on my wishlist that I've been browsing on Amazon. I love Amazon and find things on there way cheaper sometimes. The Tresemme Keratin shampoo and conditioner I recently bought for £1.80 with free delivery so keep an eye out on the prices! It's also worth noting that they often give free Prime membership's which enable you to get free next day delivery.

1. Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder - £5.00
2. Rimmel Lasting Finish Mono Blush Pink Rose - £2.87 (Add on item)
3. Sleek Blush Rose Gold - £3.23 (Add on item)
4. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation - £4.50

The Bourjois Delice de Poudre is my all go to over bronzing powder of choice. It's compact and can easily throw it in my makeup bag when I'm on the go. I'm coming to the end of mine now so need to re-purchase another one and Amazon tops the price point. Everybody seems to love the Sleek Rose Gold blush and I don't use it as much as I should, I prefer light pink shades.

5. Sleek Contour Kit (Light) - £4.67
6. Tresemme Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo - £1.69 (or subscribe and save for £1.61)
7. Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo - £3.00 (or subscribe and save for £2.85)
8. Tresemme Keratin Smooth Conditioner - £2.86 (or subscribe and save for £2.72)

I love the Sleek Contour Kit and have used it non-stop every single day for about the past 2 years. It's great for contouring the hollows of my cheeks. The shampoo and conditioner I bought as I wanted a fresh new set for the new house! Is that weird?! It's just under 3 weeks until I make the move to Oxfordshire and reality is setting in now!

What are your best recent beauty bargains?

Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water

Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water
Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water* 200ml - £3.99 (Exclusive to Tesco)
As someone with sensitive skin, it doesn't take much for my skin to go red when using an overly fragranced product or an ingredient that my skin doesn't like. I was pleased when an email dropped into my inbox about Nivea launching a Sensitive range, which is exclusive to Tesco. I am currently living minutes from 3 different Tesco stores so naturally I often fall into the beauty section when doing food shopping. Nivea and Simple are my most used skincare brands due to them being affordable and easy to source.

Micellar Water is the in thing at the moment and I've tried all of them I'm sure! If you're a long term reader you may re-call my Micellar blind trial post back in May last year. It showed that it didn't matter if it was high end, they all did a similar job. As good as Bioderma is, it's expensive and not very easily available in most of the UK. L'Oreal Purifying Micellar is my equal favourite with the Nivea Sensitive and they both do the job just as well.

The Nivea Sensitive Micellar has no fragrance at all and is parabens and colourants free. It removes even my daily waterproof mascara without trouble. I use this after cleansing with either my Body Shop Camomile Oil Cleanser or the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser. 200ml doesn't go a long way so it's best to double up in my opinion once you know you like it.

I've been given the chance to also test out the Day and Night cream from the range. I've been highly impressed with all the products I've used and would certainly re-purchase. I've seen reviews of the new Garnier Micellar Water which is 400ml for around £5 so I'll certainly be checking this out next and report back once I've tried it!

Do you use a Micellar Cleansing Water? If so, what's your favourite?

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream

The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream 50ml - £10.00
Another Body Shop post..anybody would think I'm sponsored by them! I wish... I first had a sample of The Body Shop moisturiser quite a while ago and loved it but then I ordered a lot of Christmas presents and got a free moisturiser too - bonus! My morning week day moisturiser is the Nivea Daily Essentials Express Primer as it sinks in so fast that I don't have to wait, when I want an extra 5 minutes sleep I can count on this to keep my routine down to a minimum.

TBS Vitamin E cream is still very light and sinks in within 5 minutes but doesn't remain sticky over makeup if left for the full 5 minutes. It's very hydrating and perfect for my current normal/dry skin. If you have very dry skin, you may need something more moisturising. The scent won't be too everyone's taste but it's The Body Shop often have discount codes available so make sure to check their site for deals to get this for less. The night moisture cream is on my wishlist as soon as I've finished my current Nivea Sensitive Night Cream.

On another note, I've been loving watching the Winter Olympics at Sochi. It's been keeping me occupied while I get rid of unwanted things before I move. I just wish we had more space to bring my entire bedroom!

What's your favourite day and night cream? Any recommendations?

Zara White EDT

Zara White Eau de Toilette - €5.95
I'm back! It's been one hectic month, I've been away twice to both Spain and Germany and more recent news..I'm re-locating! It's been a long time in the making but finally it's coming closer. I will be moving at the end of March to Oxfordshire with my Boyfriend, so a good few hundred miles from home. As daunting as it will be, I'll be blogging to keep myself occupied while I make new friends and get acquainted with my new home! I've been watching lots of home videos and hauls to get some inspiration and we're slowly building up things that we need so please link me to any of your posts/videos so I can find more things to buy.

I picked up my latest product today whilst in Madrid recently (damn you Zara being so much cheaper there!). I love Zara but don't have one nearby so it's a luxury when I can visit huge stores in Madrid and Manchester. I spotted this perfume when my friend was trying on clothes and loved it. Even more so when I spotted the price, it was around €6 for 30ml! They're not on the English Zara site but I'm sure I've seen them in UK stores.

The packaging it came in was cute too, white and simple and didn't look cheap by any means. The scent is heavily floral based which usually puts me off, but I can't help loving this scent. It's a very fresh, daytime wearable scent that has had quite a few compliments. Apparently this smells like Lancome's Miracle but I've never smelt it so only based on Fragrantica.com. The longevity isn't great but at that price, I don't mind having a mid-afternoon spritz since it's handbag friendly.

I'll be stocking up next time I visit Zara if I see it or get my friend to ship it ;) hint hint Sara..

What's your favourite scent? Have you tried Zara perfumes?
