Superdrug Style Expertise Salt Spray Review

Superdrug Style Expertise Salt Spray - £2.99 or currently 2 for £4

Hi everyone, hands up who’s going to the FABB Manchester event this weekend? I’m looking forward to it and can’t wait to meet everyone! I'll be going with Lisa and meeting Charlotte too so come say hello if you see us :)

Superdrug recently re-packaged their Style Expertise range which is affordable and the packaging looks a lot better than their old branded range. On a side note I’m really loving Superdrug way more than Boots at the moment, they do frequent offers and their Superdrug own brand range across the skin care and hair care sections are really good. Something I have noticed is they don’t have many shops on retail parks, maybe it’s just in the area I live? It would be easier to get to, although I’d probably spend far too much in there!

Whilst they did one of their recent free delivery offers for all items, I had a quick look at their hair section and noticed the Style Expertise range was on 2 for £4. I picked up the Salt Spray along with the Heat Spray. I’ve not been a huge fan of the heat spray as it leaves my hair a tad sticky but it does the job nonetheless.

The salt spray is a bit smaller than the other items at 100ml but it will last me ages as you only need the tiniest amount. I usually spray a bit in my hair if I want a more natural effect or if I’m brave, I will spray it mainly from the mid lengths of my hair done and then work it in to the rest of my hair. It gives me a tousled look and combined with waves it creates the perfect beachy waves. It’s a steal at just £2.99 and I’d re-purchase it if this ever ran out! Since I’m not a backcombing fan, this is a great way for me to create volume and texture without damaging my hair further.

What do you think of salt sprays? How do you use them?
