Summer Make Up Picks

How was everyone's weekend? I'm loving this weather but the major downfall? You've guessed it, hayfever. For those of you lucky enough not to suffer from it, you should know how much of a pain in the bum it is! I' have to change my make-up as I'm prone to rubbing/scratching it all off throughout the day. Drugs do not seem to work for me! With that in mind, I thought I'd show you my most recent every day picks.

L-R - Maybelline Rocket Mascara £6.79 Feelunique | Origins VitaZing £28 Debenhams | Clarins BB Cream* £22.40 Escentual.
As you can imagine, the first place I need to change up my makeup routine is my eyes. I completely get rid of any eyeshadow, eyeliner, it's too much fuss and irritates my eyes. Without any mascara I look a good few years younger but I just feel bare. For the last few weeks, I've been using the Waterproof Maybelline Rocket Mascara. It's the best waterproof mascara I've ever tried. Granted it's hard to remove, but that's the whole idea of it being waterproof. It stays on which is the main thing and doesn't give me panda eyes even when I can't help but rub them throughout the day!

Origins VitaZing is a second Summer favourite. It's light, covers my skin nicely in SPF15 and gives me a nice tint without being too dark. I will continue to re-purchase this. It's the best moisturiser, full stop! I got it originally in this set here which was an amazing steal. Bring it back Origins!

Clarins BB cream in light is a bit of a newbie to my collection but another that I've been loving non-stop since I got it. It's a bit heavy for every day as I'm a bit worried about it breaking me out so on good skin days, I prefer the Origins VitaZing. I've already done a whole review on it not long ago so make sure you check that out.

L-R - Bobbi Brown Pretty Pink Blush RRP £19 Debenhams | Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent £3.99 Feelunique | MUA Bronzed Perfection £3
These are my ultimate top 3 so they're pretty serious items! First up, I just love dusty pink blusher. Peach shades just don't look right on me and I much prefer a light pink without looking too much like a doll. It was love at first sight when I spotted Bobbi Brown blush in shade 41 Pretty Pink. Perfect description. I got it from the CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) for just over £11 which was a bit of a bargain in my eyes. It's still for sale too so even better. I'd re-purchase this again definitely.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder probably isn't a huge surprise to any of you. Like most of us, getting shiny in the Summer isn't too much of a great look, unless it's a nice subtle glow so for that, I prefer to use the Stay Matte powder to get rid of any extra excess sebum (nice!). It's amazing for £3 and I need to purchase another one for my handbag too actually. Combining this with the Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets and you're on your way to a matte finish.

MUA Bronzed Perfection is another product I've had for quite some time now. It's a huge product and doesn't even look like I've had it so long. That's my only problem with this bronzer, it's too big to travel anywhere so I have to get a replacement since I'm on the go quite a lot. Another bargain at £3 and I'm probably going to still have this next Summer!

What are you favourite makeup items for Summer? Do you have any hayfever busting tips?!
