Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in shade Hollow - £17.50
Thanks to this gorgeous sunshine and heat we've been having lately in England, my fake tan has been out in serious force (Xen-Tan, the only one I use) and due to my naturally pale skin, I look pretty one dimensional without any help from my makeup friends, ie contouring. Whilst browsing Twitter a few weeks ago I noticed I'd missed a 50% off on Illamasqua and was gutted. Thankfully they decided to do another discount code for those outside the UK from 12am-1am GMT, since I wasn't doing anything else I waited up to purchase a few treats for myself.

Every single thin I've tried from Illamasqua has been amazing. Their bright colours and wacky make up artists can scare me a bit but their products are second to none. I love how pigmented everything is and yes it's pricey, but you get what you pay for and in my case, I got a real deal!

Hollow pigment is so easy to blend and when it's swatched, you can't tell too much from my hand swatch above, but it's kind of a grey colour which looks a bit strange. It really is the perfect shade for contouring and since it's a cream product, you can either use your fingers or brush to apply. If I'm in a rush I'll just dot a bit on my finger and then put it where I want it to go and then blend, blend, blend. I'd definitely say this shade is perfect for fair skin tones, although it's still really subtle at mimicking shadows in the right places.

I love love love this product and think it'll be in my collection for a long time! I've added the links below the last picture although it is currently out of stock so keep your eye out when it's back in stock!

Have you tried Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow? Which are your favourite contour products?

    1. Aw, thanks Laura! It's pretty good for pale-medium skin tones. I've been using it lately with a tan to try it out. Very natural and subtle looking. :) x

    1. I’ve not heard of that before, I’ll have to look it up. I’ve got so many bronzers at the moment so I won’t be purchasing any more for a good while! x
