As someone with quite dry skin generally, I prefer to use cream and liquid products to keep any moisture locked and not highlight any pesky dry areas. Lately since using a few key products (Nivea Daily Essentials Primer and Etat Pur Rich Nourishing Cream), it's made my dry skin near enough disappear on my face which is a miracle but I can still have highlighted areas around my cheeks and t-zone sometimes.
Believe it or not, Bourjois Healthy Mix was my first ever foundation bought, wait for it, nearly 2 years ago and I'm now 22. I can't imagine not wearing foundation now, well I sometimes mix it up with just tinted moisturiser but that's as far as it'll go. It was a great first foundation to try and that was thanks to reading my first ever beauty blogs. Shame for me, the shade range is a bit hit and miss in the Winter but I can try it again once I start to get a tan.
Apparently, you're supposed to look for a concealer that's one to two shades lighter than your normal skin tone and I'd say this is about right. I got the lightest shade in Eclat Clair (Light Radiance) and there is 2 darker shades than this. I love the scent like the foundation too, it's kind of fruity but isn't too overpowering. The shade has a prominent yellow undertone but it blends out nicely before and after foundation, I like to mix it up afterall!
The packaging is quite eye-catching in my opinion, just your average plastic and I'm glad that there is no wand, although it can get quite dirty. The packaging promotes anti-fatigue and I'm not sure it can work miracles but it lasts for a good few hours anyway. With powder that I use from my Soap and Glory concealer kit, I dab a tiny amount to set it without it looking too cakey as I don't tend to need powder anywhere else.
The Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer is a nice product that I know I will be re-purchasing. I've barely gone past a few millimetres of product so this will last me ages but if you're looking for a new undereye concealer then why not give this a try? Boots currently have buy one get one half price on Bourjois and Superdrug is 3 for 2 by the way! All links are below the final photo as usual.
