Look Beauty - Loud Lips Rock Candy Shade 3  - Currently £3.50 (Regular price £7.00) available from Superdrug & Look Beauty website here
Hey everyone, hope you're all ok and keeping warm. I'm seriously over this cold weather now and can't wait for Summer. I'm looking to book a holiday desperately but waiting on my Boyfriend now to book the time off work. (hurry up Ollie!) We're both thinking of Morocco and you know when you get something in your head so much that you will do anything to make it happen, yeah that! All I need now is the confirmation tickets then I'm happy!

A couple of weeks ago I saw on Twitter that Look Beauty had 50% off and I had previously owned one of their blushers so I thought I'd try some more of their products. I decided to go for one of their new cream blushers in melon, a lip slick, this lipstick and a powder blusher in flirt. The cream blusher is really, really good I may include it in my future post I've got lined up.

I was really impressed when I opened the box and saw the packaging. The box as you can see above, is quite simple but I love their standard pink themed packaging. I chose the shade Rock Candy Shade 3 which is a bright fuchsia and really translates on the lips. Unfortunately I have a love/hate relationship with this product already. As most of us have in Winter, I have severely dry lips at the moment which doesn't help applying lipsticks but this made my lips look terrible. I had to instantly wipe it off. Another thing I hate is the scent, urgh. Is it just me?! I can't put my finger on it but it's just not nice.

On a positive note, Rock Candy is the perfect Barbie pink shade I like to go for on special occasions, nights out etc but I'm not daring enough to go for it during the day! I'm not going to write off this product just yet as it's kind of my own fault having dry lips, but once they're in better condition I'll wear it again. The pigmentation just isn't creamy enough for me which is a huge negative but for £3.50 you can't complain too much.

Overall a 50/50 review but I'd love to know what you all think. Have you tried Look Beauty's products including the Loud Lips range? What's your recommended products?

    1. That's always a good way. I am the same, just because I don't really know what colours suit me eyes wise. Experimenting is the key :) x

  5. I've never tried any Look Beauty products before and I'm not sure if this review is going to make me try out their lipsticks. I really like the colour but like yourself I suffer from dry lips during the winter and if it exacerbates that I'd steer clear, at least until the summer! xx

    1. Their blushers are all pretty good! Especially love their cream blusher in melon. It's so creamy and lasts ages. Worth searching if you can to see if it'll suit your lips :) x

  7. I've not tried anything from look beauty, it's a shame your lips are dry and you can't love this properly. It does look stunning! I'm going the trafford centre next week so maybe i'll have a look at their offerings.

  9. Oh my goodness, it's beautiful! It's such a bummer when you have dry lips though, I'm having the same problem at the moment and it pains me to not be able to wear most lipsticks!

  11. I love this lipstick, I like to wear it during the day. One thing that annoys me is the packaging, as I'm always worried that it may open up in my bag. xo
