Covergirl Lash Blast Luxe Review

Hey everyone, hope you're ok! I've had a bit of an impromptu blogging break the last week or so. I haven't really felt like blogging and I've been so busy that it was the last thing on my mind. I'd much rather do it when I want to, rather than for the sake of it so hopefully my mojo is fully back but I've plenty to talk about! I'm trying to organise a few life things too which are a tad frustrating but of course, when I can tell you all, I will :)

I wanted to share with you my bargain of the month so far that I found in TK Maxx. As a bit of a fan of Taylor Swift and also reading Fleur de Force's blog, I know that one of Taylor Swift's favourite mascara's is the Covergirl Lash Blast so on a whim I bought this thinking it's the same thing, I've since found out it's not the same so I'm unsure of the difference between both mascaras. I've been trying quite a few mascaras lately, most recent and favourite being Rimmel Accelerator Endless mascara (review will be coming soon on that!).

Covergirl isn't a brand that we can get hold of in the UK so I like to try out American brands that I occasionally find in TK Maxx. It was a mere £3.99 which isn't very much for any decent mascara so I'm impressed. The best thing I like about this mascara, the fact that the tube and the wand are packaged separately Is it just me that thinks that it's so much better?! I don't know why..I guess it's a bit more packaging wastage though.

The wand itself, as you can see is pretty spikey which I like and I find it grabs each lash individually. The mascara feels slightly dry which makes me question if the product has been sat on a shelf somewhere for ages but I can cope with it for a few months at least. It isn't something I'd re-purchase because I wasn't wowed by it but it was okay. It gives my lashes a bit more volume than usual but I find using a lengthening mascara with it helps give my lashes a bit more curl that it lacks naturally. Overall for £3.99 it was a bargain and I will still continue to TK Maxx hunt for new products.

Have you tried any of Covergirl's products? What's your favourite mascara?
