Christmas NOTD

L-R - Essie Ballet Slippers, Topshop Adrenalin, Barry M Nail Polish in Pink Sapphire Glitter

Hey everyone, long time no speak! Hope you all had a lovely New Year. I had a fairly quiet one at my Boyfriend's Brother's house for a get-together, which ended up in a few drinking games.. Now it's back to reality with a bump for my first day back at work after the New Year and boy was it not long enough. I thought I'd show you my nail picks of choice that I wore over the Christmas period.

The base coat I used was Essie's Ballet Slippers which is quite a sheer white kind of shade and is perfect for glitter layering. After I applied this, I started layering Barry M's Pink Sapphire Glitter polish followed by the Topshop Adrenalin. I did a couple of coats of each just to see how it went but I ended up liking the finished result. My favourite nail polish is Topshop Adrenalin but it does need quite a few coats to look like the perfect glitter in my opinion.

Obviously it was an absolute nightmare to remove, but for a one off it's acceptable. I've not worn as much nail polish recently due to lack of time and effort, as well as blogged. I wish I had more time to blog but at the moment my job, the gym and Boyfriend take up my day. I've got a new laptop and iPad ready to blog with posts lined up so once I get a spare half an hour I will do a quick post or two :)

What nail polish did you wear over the holiday season?
