|L-R Miss Dior (Cherie) Eau de Toilette 50ml Debenhams £51.00 | Escentual £43.35 & Next Diamonds 30ml £6.50 | 75ml £10.00|
Hello everyone. Hope you’re all getting excited for Christmas?! This is the best time of year, mainly for the time off work and spending time with family and friends. I can’t believe it’s just over a week to go! Have you all spent over your budget too?
Today I wanted to tell you about a dupe for my all time favourite perfume, which could also be a gift idea if you know anyone that likes similar scents. I have loved Miss Dior (Cherie) for years and years now and as you can see, my bottle that I currently own doesn’t have their new name (Miss Dior) and even their bottle has changed too. This has lasted me ages purely because I only wear it on special occasions and it lasts on my skin all day. It’s a really beautiful, fresh yet quite strong scented fragrance. I would love to babble on about the top and base notes, but I don’t have a clue. I’ve tried to find more information on it, but because of the name change, there’s a bit of confusion between the “original” Miss Dior and the former Miss Dior Cherie. The original being a more yellow toned liquid, the Miss Dior Cherie being pink toned. The scent is completely different so it’s best not to get mistaken.
Rather than getting all confused, a few years ago I also found a Next equivalent that smells almost identical. It doesn’t quite last as long on the skin but it’s only £6.50 a pop for 30ml & £10 for 75ml, it feels ok to continually spritz it. I really like the Next one and will still re-purchase the Dior version once I run out just because it’s a special fragrance to me. I really hope that Next don't stop stocking Diamonds either. So far, 30ml has lasted me approx 6 months and I'm not even a quarter way through! If you're looking for a stocking filler, then definitely look at Next fragrances, they all seem to be copies of other perfumes so you may find another you know and love.
Do you have any fragrance dupes that are much cheaper? Anybody know if Miss Dior smells exactly the same as Miss Dior Cherie for sure?
