I am incredibly lucky that I've never suffered with spots, only minor blemishes here and there but recently, I've been prone to a few "blusher" spots as I like to call them. I think as I'm experimenting with both cream, liquid and powder based blushers, it can cause a bit of build up around my cheek area which has broke me out slightly in the past few weeks. I was using the Neutrogena spot treatment, which was fine and fab but it's a bit pricey for how much I use it. The only thing I prefer over using the Superdrug spot clearing gel is that I can feel it working when I apply the Neutrogena spot gel.
When I spotted a very cheaper version in Superdrug, I thought I may as well throw it in my basket, it was under £2 when I bought it, but the normal price is £2.99 - still a bargain! I have been applying it under my primer as it dries pretty quickly. It says results are shown in 4 hours which I think is a slight exaggeration, but I've certainly seen results overnight. I can't comment on major spots but for minor spots, it's great!
It's fragrance and paraben free along with hypoallergenic, which is good for my dry/sensitive skin. I've had no further rashes or outbreaks like I sometimes get with these type of products. Overall, it's a great little product and if you're looking for a quick solution to reducing your spots, why not give it a try?
The Superdrug Spot Clearing Gel retails at £2.99 here.
