Origins Brightening Musts

If you read my last wishlist, you will have seen this Origins Brightening Musts set in there...I caved (plus it was my birthday so it's allowed!) and decided to buy it as I didn't know how long it'd stay on their website for! I'm so glad I got it! I love each product, in individual ways, and wow their samples are so generous that I even got a 15ml sample of the VitaZing and haven't even cracked into the full sized one yet! Amazing.

Let's cut to the chase, the one thing out of this set I love the most is the GinZing eye cream! Before this, my most loved eye cream was actually pretty cheap, Boots Vitamin E eye cream. It comes in at under £3 so bit of a difference in price (the GinZing retails at £21 - ouch!) As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and this is a luxurious product. The texture is so light and it has a slight tint to the cream so it brightens your eye area instantly. It doesn't feel in any way sticky and it dries quickly so I can use it before applying makeup too, handy.

The VitaZing tinted moisturiser is lovely too. I was confused when I first used it as it's just a normal moisturiser colour but as soon as I started to apply, it blended a darker shade but gave a sort of bronzed look to my deathly pale skin. I've worn it the last few weeks either on its' own or as a makeup base and it hasn't broke me out which is a bonus. Not so sure how much I love it to re-purchase though so we'll see once I've finished the bottle!

Last but not least is the Modern Friction Gentle Dermabrasion. I love to exfoliate and get rid of the dead skin cells more often than most. It doesn't make my skin any drier and I like really working to the surface of my skin so that when it resurfaces, it's smoother. Don't worry, I don't do this too often.
I've learnt which products do and don't work and threw out the expensive ones that I kind of hoped would work because of the price tag. I like this - but I just don't love it. I've been spoilt since having a sample of Ice Crystals Freeze 24/7 and loving it - until I found out it's around the £40 mark. :(

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this set while it’s still on their site. It’s only available online too I’ve asked at their counters. It’s actually quite a bargain at £26 and I think I’m going to buy it for a family member for Christmas too.

Origins Brightening Musts retails at £26 from their site here

Have you tried any of the Origins range? Which would you like the look of the most in this set?

  1. I'd love to try the eye cream. I've been using my Aldi Lacura cheapy one lately, thinking if I start now at 23 hopefully it will help later on!

    1. Haha I feel the same way, but then I seem to see more wrinkles than everyone else! I'm hoping I put them off for as long as possible!! x

    1. You should definitely try the eye cream if you like the other products. It feels so nice on the skin and mine's only 5ml so I'm trying to make it last as long as possible! x

  4. I've got the eye cream but don't find it has any lasting effect, it brightens but apart from that, I'm not that impressed. It certainly doesn't de-puff..
