Balmi

Balmi Strawberry Lip Balm - £4.99 Boots
It was only a few weeks ago I blogged about my favourite lip balms and knowing full well I didn't need any more, I spotted this cute Balmi lip balm in Boots and since I had some Boots points left I thought I should give it a try. It retails at £4.99 which is an amount I'd be happily willing to pay.

I must have at least 50 lip balms dotted around in my car, Boyfriend's house, my house, work..you name it. I keep some of them in a disused candle jar at the side of my bed so they're out the way, and look cute obviously. I'm always sceptical about whether some lip balms primarily contain petroleum (which I hate the feel of on my lips - ew!) but this one contains antioxidant-rich Vitamin E, soothing Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil to help leave your lips moisturised, soft and super smooth.

I'm sure most of us have read about EOS which aren't as easy to source in the UK but these are basically a better looking version in my eyes, although I can't comment further as I've only tried Balmi. The shape of the lip balm is genius. Hands up who hates putting their fingers in lip balm tubs? Me..especially when I'm on the go. Hopefully I'm not the only one to admit this, when I first twisted the top off, I just started using my finger then thought wait surely "kissing" the top of the balm would be much easier. Yes, yes it is. Hence the dome shape. Now who feels silly..

I've read a lot of people hate the little chain, which most presume is for your phone it seems, bit too heavy for a phone I think but anyway, I do want to put it on my car keys at some point as I lose lip balms far too often but it's no harm to detach if you think it looks tacky. I'm already on the hunt for some more of their flavours and have heard the mint one tingles?! Hopefully this is true as I love menthol lip balms.

Balmi has opened my horizons to lip balms other than Nivea, Blistex and most importantly, Burt's Bees and I'm happy to say I love it!

Balmi retails for £4.99 from Boots here.

Have you tried Balmi? Which is your favourite?
