Montagne Jeunesse Exotic Fruits Face Masks

Montagne Exotic Fruits Face Masks - £1.29 from Boots, Asda and Montagne Jeunesse.*
Montagne Jeunesse are the best thing for helping my skin be baby smooth! I love their face masks the most since they're natural, kind to the skin and super cheap. I was recently sent these cute face masks to try and they must know me well since my favourite type of face masks are the peel off ones. I'm open to trying any wash off ones, but it's so satisfying peeling off the face mask and I can't help but liken it to getting sunburn and peeling, only not as painful!

I love the fruity scents but my favourite has to be Paw Paw peel off which is aimed at reducing pores. After I finish peeling them off, I always love to feel my skin because it's so soft. The only thing I didn't like was on applying the dragon fruit mask, (the wash off one) it had a strong, warming sensation as I applied it. It confused me as to whether it was a reaction or what it's supposed to do so I will not be re-purchasing that. I'd say the Paw Paw is on par with my favourite Montagne Jeunesse mask - the passionfruit peel off!

You can purchase the Exotic Fruits Face Masks from Asda, Boots and www.montagnejeunesse.com. All their skincare is full of natural ingredients and suitable for vegetarians too!

Have you tried Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks? Which is your favourite?

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte 101

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick - Shade 101 - £5.49 Boots
When I first heard about the new Kate Moss matte lipsticks I wasn't all that bothered, I was looking on the Boots website at their 3 for 2 offers and thought since it's technically free, I may as well add it to my basket. I went for the shade 101 in the end which is a really pale pink colour. I prefer matte finishes for a daytime look so this was perfect for me. It reminds me of another Rimmel lipstick actually, I just can't remember the shade!

Firstly, I do love the packaging, it's very sleek and I love the bright red too. I'm always sceptical as to how much input the celebrities actually put into their products, but who cares I like it anyway. It's very creamy which is great for my dry lips and didn't highlight the dry areas, woohoo! I've had a few compliments on it and although I've only had it a few days, it's already in my top 5 lip products.

The lipstick retails at £5.49 which is pretty good although I prefer to spend the minimum possible on a lipstick, that's maybe where I'm going wrong. The only negative thing, nothing to do with this lipstick exactly, but the Boots swatches are so unrealistic of the lipstick shade. The shade I picked looked more of a Coral/Pink colour, which it's not and the others are pretty bad too.

You can buy Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipstick in 5 different shades from the Boots website here (currently on the 3 for 2 mix and match offer) or many other Supermarkets, drug stores etc.

Do you like matte lipsticks? What do you think of the new Kate Moss collection?

Avon Anew Clinical Line Corrector

Avon Anew Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33 (Amino Fill33) - RRP £30 (Currently £20 on offer)
A few weeks ago I got sent a box of 8 miniature sizes of Avon's new Anew Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment, I signed up for it somewhere online apparently but wish I remembered where! The box was cute too. Avon have patented A-F33 technology which is super clever as it helps the skin stimulate collagen aka, smoothing out lines the natural way.

I wasn't planning on blogging about this since I wanted to try it out for quite a long period but I actually ended up halving the box with my Mum who has all my anti-ageing products. She is absolutely in love with the product, since blogging I seem to have gotten her into using skincare whereas before she'd probably just pick up whatever is on offer. The miniatures are only 5ml which are enough for morning and evening face apply, however the box said it should last about 5 days (must be used very sparingly!). I apply this before my moisturiser to allow it to completely soak in. It's very smooth and goes on like a dream. Being only 22 means I can't review it to its' full potential, that's where my Mum came in handy. Since she loved it so much I asked her what she loved the most about the product.

She said that it made her fine lines visibly reduce over the 4 week period, made her feel confident and most importantly to her, made her skin smooth. I'm impressed with it too but feel it would be a waste of money for me to purchase right now, although I do want to try another serum as I'm a serum newbie. The serum is actually on a trial price at the moment of £20 but it sells out quickly so be sure to be put on the list for when it's back in stock.

Overall it seems a real winner from all the reviews I've also read about it and it would be a great Christmas present idea for maybe your Mum, Sister, Auntie etc.

You can purchase Avon Anew Pro Clinical Line Corrector here for £20 - grab it while it lasts!

Did you do the trial? What do you think of acting on early signs of ageing lines?

Hanging Washbag

Debenhams hanging washbag (no longer available) - Similar links below for £14-16
I wasn't going to blog about this (even though I took photos when I got it) but it's just so cute and coming up to the C word again, Christmas, I thought this, or something similar would be a really nice present. I got this as a present technically from my sister, she gave me a Debenhams giftcard for my birthday but I wasn't so sure what to get and since I've wanted one of these hanging washbags for ages, I decided this one looked the cutest.

It isn't actually in stock anymore but they still do similar ones and I've also seen that Cath Kidston has some too. They're great for all my skincare and I travel every weekend to my Boyfriends so this is easy for minimal space just for throwing anything in there. I've not really used the top zipped pocket to be honest as it's quite small, but it's a great size for something like your tweezers.

The sizing is great and I can fit so much stuff in there. Plus the print is pretty cute huh? I've been looking at some others they have online and have seen this super, duper cute detachable middle bag with hanging strap again. There are some more listed from this link, my favourites being this one and this one.

I'd love this as a present, so maybe someone else with little space or a traveller would love this too! What do you think of the idea, would you use it?

MUA Undressed

MUA Undressed Palette

MUA Undressed Palette
MUA Undressed Palette - £4 from Superdrug or MUA Store Online
Hi Everyone, just a quick note to say posts are going to be quite sproadic for a while, I've got a few things going on, plus going to work and coming home in the dark isn't ideal for blog photos. I'm always too busy to photograph at the weekend too, so bear with me! I've got posts lined up though and have a free weekend for once as the Boyfriend is away so I plan to do as much as possible then :)

Excuse me for the seriously late delay on the MUA Undressed aka Naked dupe palette. I wasn't going to post about it since it's been so over done but I just wanted to express my love for it since I use either this or the MUA Heaven & Earth palette near enough every day. It's got a mix of matte and shimmery shades, matte preferred but we can't have it all can we. It's such a massive bargain and I think the photos say it all...

I love all the shades, seriously all of them. I prefer to use the really light and really dark shades to create the perfect smokey eye in the evening and just the lighter colours for a casual daytime look. I'm amazed at how cheap the eyeshadows work out at individually and they don't crease with a primer. They easily last me all day whilst at work and that's my main purchase reason for most cosmetics.

Let's admire the MUA Undressed palette. Does anyone else love and own the Undressed palette? Have you done an MUA vs Urban Decay comparison? I'd love to see it.

Pretty HoF Dresses!

House of Fraser is a store that I base upon luxury and unfortunately for me, I don't have one for over 20 miles so it's a treat when I do get to browse their stores. Luckily though, they do deliver so I've been eyeing up some of their ideal Christmas dresses, sorry I know it's way too early to talk about it but you have to get organised!

Christmas parties are based upon glitter and sequins so I combined this in 2 out of 4 of my favourite picks, snazzy huh? I didn't know that House of Fraser did brands such as Glamorous, Motel or even Jane Norman so I'm really impressed with my findings, come closer to me House of Fraser!

1. TFNC Mesh Cut Out Sequin Dress - This is your classic party dress. It's a bit daring due to the cut out sides so I probably couldn't get away with it, but if you've got the figure, flaunt it! I love this dress and can't believe it's only £17.50! Bargain.

2. John Zack Short Sleeve Puff Ball Dress - This is more like something I'd wear for a Christmas party, I love the puff ball sleeves, great for hiding parts of my arms I hate the most! It has a cut out at the back which makes bras awkward but I could cope for one night. This is another bargain at £14.40 and it's on my favourites until payday.

3. TFNC Sequin Prom Dress - I love this too. It's so cute and girlie and my style. I love the mix of sequins and black and the flare at the bottom. This is a bit more pricey at £48.00 but a decent price for a dress that will be worn time and time again.

4. Jane Norman Strip Peplum Dress -  I love peplums! It hides my waist which I am forever trying to decrease at the moment and flares out at just the right bits. I love this pick from Jane Norman and is another bargain - £15.00! I'd wear this on any sort of night out as it's versatile and can be paired with the simplest of jewellery.

What do you think of my picks, are you a sequin and glitter girl like me? All the links to the dresses are on the dress names :) happy browsing!
