As it's now approaching the cold season aka Autumn in England, my skin goes a little dryer than normal which is an absolute pain for applying foundation. I've recently discovered my love for mineral foundation through Lily Lolo's products and was so impressed, I decided to place an order for a few items to test out and see how I felt.
One of the items was this mineral bronzer in Bondi Bronze. I was a little apprehensive about the shade choice but thought that it's a lot easier to blend mineral powder in my opinion. Firstly, as soon as I opened the tiny pot, it went everywhere, brilliant! Anyone who knows me in real life, will know that I can be pretty clumsy sometimes but this was definitely a film moment, where I literally had to catch it and sweep it back into the pot.
The shade itself is described as a medium shimmer, with golden undertones. I wouldn't say the shimmer is that noticeable on my skin tone which is great because I hate shimmery bronzers, I'd love to know just out of interest who does like them?! I applied using an Elf Mineral Powder brush which is a good shape and the perfect amount of density to be able to apply without it going all over my face.
I do like the shade but I think as my fake tanning will now be decreasing as it gets colder, I think maybe I should go for the light "Wakiki" bronzer. All in all, it's a great product and this is definitely not the last Lily Lolo mineral product that I try. If you're struggling with any skin problems, then maybe Lily Lolo is for you.
What do you think? Are you a recent mineral convert?
