Etat Pur Micellar Cleansing Water

Etat Pur Products

Who is Etat Pur?

Etat pur is a French skincare brand based in Paris and recently set up their UK site after so much demand for French skincare. They people that test and develop the products are actually owned by Bioderma, therefore it must be good right? I was so impressed with my first order, I’m already adding things to my basket for next time!

Their price promises

I was amazed upon research of Etat Pur, when I saw them break down their costings for the average product. This isn't something I've seen done before on a website, but I appreciate their honesty! You can see the break down here on their site. Their aim isn't to be the cheapest skincare on the market, but to offer the best value for money/performance. They break everything down back to basics and get rid of pointless packaging that adds to the price of the product. I do suggest you read that part of the site if you're interested in the origins of the products!

I’ve been mourning the near end of my Bioderma cleanser for quite some time now hating the fact it costs so much in the UK, as opposed to abroad. When I was searching for new Micellar cleansing water, I came across Etat Pur. I’d never heard of any of their products previously but was curious when I saw the prices of the water quite cheap, compared to my beloved Bioderma so I thought I’d give it a try. On your first order, delivery is free and with every order you get 3 free samples. Amazing!

The water itself is really good. I don't think there's much difference between this and the Bioderma. I do prefer the scent of the Etat Pur if I'm being picky, but if you have ultra-sensitve skin, you may want to watch out for this. Sometimes scents can irritate my skin too, but in this instance it was fine!

I use it to get rid of my eye makeup too, it did this without and stinging around my poor, sensitive eyes and in one oval cotton pad, I was make-up free!

L-R Etat Pur Oil-free Quenching Fluid, Micellar Cleansing Water, Melting Moisturizing Cream.

I got the parcel and noticed on it a French address, it had in fact come - in 2 days via France to myself, for free postage! That in itself made me quite happy as I wasn't expecting it so quickly! The little samples are in no way so little that you can't get a feel for the product. I will do an update on the samples if anybody is interested but I haven't been able to test them out yet!

The 2 samples you choose yourself, the third a surprise. I was happy when the little 20ml bottle of the micellar water came too. I travel around a lot, so this is great to throw in for a couple of nights away.

The packaging was simple, but cute and it came in some tissue paper, which I wasn't overly impressed with but everything got here in one piece, so I won't complain!
