Sunday Haul Part 2


So, part 2 of the haul coming up now! If you've not read part 1 read it here. I heard from the grapevine a few times on Twitter that Stila products were in TK Maxx but as my usual one is so tiny and horrible to shop in, I visited another one as mentioned. I headed straight to the beauty/skincare/haircare section and spent a whole hour browsing this little section. I spotted Essie nail varnishes in 3 for £9.99 but I didn't really like any of the shades and will wait for the hype to die down (for now!) There was also a lot of Nails inc if you're looking for a bargain!



Anyway, I spotted the Stila products, which were few and far between and found this tinted moisturiser. Course it won't be in my shade, no wait, hoorah! Light 01. Perfect I thought! Had a quick swatch, threw it in my basket and off I went. Nearby I noticed some lip products too, I instantly found a dark purple colour..not for me, then to my surprise I found a shocking bright orange, also not for me, and a very bright pink. Is it really wearable? We'll give it go for £3.99 anyway, I've put it on briefly at home and absolutely LOVE it! It's the best tinted moisturiser I've tried and I've researched it since and it's retailing at around the £20 mark so bargain again! I hope they carry on selling it else I'll be miffed.



Excuse the previous swatches but just to get a brief idea of the consistency.

Blended in, it has a bit of a shimmer to it which I love.


Stila Lip Enamel Luxe Gloss isn't something I was previously familiar with. The colour jumped at my eye, despite it being Stila and I had to have it! I opened the top and was unsure how to work it so had to google. There is a nip at the top which you have to pull off then twist the top, but be careful, as you may do what I did...yep, it went everywhere. Sadly I wasted a little but with a quick clean up, it was fine. Poor carpet..


Giggle is a really nice colour, but if you're not into bright pink, I'd stay well clear! It wasn't sticky by any means but felt heavy on my lips (if that makes sense). I don't like the twist feature, this puts me off with concealers too as I'm too ditzy and it ends up everywhere like this! I would only re-purchase if it's in TK Maxx again, but I've seen this is retailing around the $8 mark, I couldn't find any on UK websites so no idea if they even sell it here normally?




Next was the Barry M aisles. I've been looking at a few lip paints and was disappointed with my previous first Barry M number 140. It wasn't that great when applied and highlighted all my dry spots :( This one wasn't that great either. The colour is nice but I'm still not sure if it suits me. I prefer the Collection (2000) consistency and lasting power of their lipsticks so I'll see how I get on with it after a few times wear.



Sorry for the massive essay and it looks bad when I read it all back! Whoops, but I only spent £28 in total (including haul number 1) if that justifies anything?! I also bought 2 Natural Collection blushes but I will blog about them another time, this post is quite long!
