Sunday Boots Haul

So..I had a few lonely hours to kill so I thought what should I do? I know, go to my nearest retail park and hit Boots and TK Maxx! I spent a whole 2 hours in both shops which is crazy! I perused the aisles approx 4 times each in Boots and was a bit disappointed with the lack of skincare range but ended up with the best of what I thought suited my low budget. I saw a few Aveene products but they were SO expensive! I also noticed that the Botanics range has been re-vamped?! When did this happen? I couldn't find the things I wanted either hmpf! I really wanted the eye make up remover and facial toner. :(

The first item is the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz which is 100% organic and 150ml. I bought this on a whim hoping it's something similar to the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. The Caudalie Elixir is so expensive and it's not changed anything to my skin but I still want it?! This was £4.99 so a fraction of the price. I actually got to the till and the lady told me it was 3 for 2 on selected skin and beauty care so I got an item free - bonus! This isn't actually online for some reason, but browse the shelves and you should be able to find it with all the other Botanics range.

I can't really say it's anything like the Beauty Elixir, I hate this smell too personally, but maybe you will like one of them? It's really refreshing though and for 150ml for £4.99, I'll definitely re-purchase! My skin feels a little tighter too, but maybe I'm just hoping it is haha. Overall though, I love it, so far so good!

The second item which is the one I actually got free, is the Glycerin and Rosewater which claims to tone and moisturise. It's been around since 1900 apparently so it must be pretty good! You apply it to your face and neck or even hands using cotton wool before moisturiser. I'll give it a go and see how I get on but it was only £2.32 normally. You can buy it online at Boots here

Since they re-vamped the Botanics range and I couldn't find the toner I wanted, I ended up spotting the Vitamin E toner which was on offer for £1.71 for some reason. I use their eye cream to brighten up my dark circles so for £1.71 I'm not missing much if it's naff. It's on the Boots website for £2.54 here.

Lastly I got an eye make up remover. My bioderma cleanser will shortly be running out and I'm not sure when I'm next getting another bottle so I bought this as an alternative just for my eyes as they're so sensitive. This was only cheap again at £2.99 and was in the 3 for 2 range. Buy it here

TK Maxx was a lot better than I expected. I completely forgot this retail park had one as it's quite a new store, my usual one is horrible and doesn't have much beauty items. I'll do another post tomorrow with the TK Maxx hauls and link it here when it's up! Until tomorrow..

My nearest retail park sounds just like yours with a boots and a relatively new TK Maxx! Strange! Want to try the revamped botanics.
