The best fake tan!

As many of you may know, I am pale. Very pale in winter. I don't mind using fake tan but find it so tedious, exfoliating, scrubbing, moisturising etc so don't do it as often as I probably could. Lately I've been trying out a new gradual tanner in the form of Dove Summer Glow moisturising gradual tanner. I was trying it out over a week when we had our blip of Summer (yep a few days...) and everybody kept asking if I'd been on holiday which is a first for me!

It looked really natural and I didn't look as much like Casper hoorah! It does start to go a bit patchy after a few days so make sure you continue to exfoliate the dead skin cells and top it up! I bought this from Savers which I don't actually have near me, I was on a day trip and spotted it but it was around the £2.50 mark. You can buy it in quite a few places, Supermarkets, Boots, Superdrug etc. I got the fair to normal skin tone but they do a darker version too.

You can buy it from Boots for £5.69, Chemist Direct for £2.99 or Superdrug for £2.83. It's sold out a lot online so it's worth shopping around! Let me know what you think about it, I tried it a few years ago and hated it but they seem to have changed the formulation now I'm addicted!

  2. I'm always a bit sceptical about self-tanners as I'm half Asian any way so I am a bit tanned, but I always want to be more tanned! Lol maybe I'll be brave and go for it!

I use this and it's fab. I'm super pale too but use the dark one, I find it less orangey

  5. Ah really, lucky you! :) it's subtle the fair-normal one and you've nothing to lose, no streaks or anything either! x
