Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

I thought I'd share with you an amazing "magic in fact" remover that I've been reviewing. Any nail polish that gets rid of glitter is a winner in my eyes! I've tried it with both glitter and non-glitter and can confirm it is pretty good!

The girlie pink pot contains a black sponge with a hole in the middle. The smell is quite strong when you lift off the lid, but fear not, it has a red fruit and vanilla fragrance - yummy! It's way better than the usual horrible smell and it's also paraben and acetone free.

This was the first test (excuse the shoddy painting but you get the idea!) on Barry M 308 berry. The left picture is the after shot, the right before. This was literally within a couple of seconds. It's so easy to do and basically you just put your finger in and twist and if it's not removed fully, do it a few times and voila!

The second test was with glitter. I used the Deborah Lippmann in Razzle Dazzle. I can never find a nail polish remover that removes glitter straight away, only using the foil method, but this is just so much easier and you don't need cotton wool! Now it's not going to be perfect, the picture on the right is after 2 seconds but you can just dipping it in and out until it's fully removed.

Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Polish Remover is available now in Boots here and Superdrug and retails at £4.99, more expensive than normal nail polish remover but think of the saving in cotton wool ;-)

What do you think, will you be making a purchase?

  2. Haha that's funny, it is really good. I know it sounds expensive and it is, but you save time as well as effort with glitter especially! x
